New research shows very clever approach to improving text to image results.

They let you use a Rich Text editor, where you can you can bolden, style or color your text to assign different types of weights to each token, making image generation “controllable”.

You can even add footnotes to your words, and provide more info about a specific object in the photo.

Smart right?

If you want a yellow cabin, just color the word "cabin" in yellow. If you want the lake to have special elements, you can add a footnote on your word “lake”.

🚨 What else is going on

• Amazon will invest up to $4 billion in Anthropic and become their primary cloud provider. In turn they will get access access to their AI assistant Claude. So, 3 out of the 4 biggest tech companies (Google, Microsoft and Amazon) all invested in the biggest chatbots. Apple is back in standby mode.

• Optimus can now sort objects by itself! It can calibrate its legs and arms to finish a task. If they connect it to an LLM, it will become ten times more powerful. This is because it can learn from actions in real-time and use them in the real world. Tesla was slow in developing robots, but it seems like they are quickly catching up and aiming for the top spot!
