Sparrow 🦜 [beta in 2023]

Sparrow is a dialog agent by Deep Mind (acquired by Google), and powered by Chinchilla (LLM model that outperforms GPT3).

It is designed to talk with a user, answer questions, and search the internet using Google. Also, Sparrow trains dialogue agents to be more helpful, correct, and harmless.

Flamingo 🦩 [no public release yet]

Flamingo is a multi-modal dialog model by DeepMind, powered by Chinchilla as well.

You can ask this model about image content and other background information. This is not possible with other dialog apps.

Researcher Roman Ring demonstrates this in his tweet.

LaMDA 👩🏼‍🍳 [beta testing]

LaMDA is an AI-powered dialogue system by Google that can converse on any topic and respond to anything you ask. You can try it on their AI Test Kitchen.

Bloom 🌸 [open-sourced]

Bloom: a true open-source alternative to GPT-3. The main difference is that Bloom can process 46 different languages.

GODEL 🎯 [code & models available]

Godel is a model for goal-directed dialog by Microsoft, trained on Reddit dialogs threads.

It is trained to better understand external information, such as information from a database or document. It can potentially make restaurant recommendations, help us pay bills, and remind us of appointments.

The code and models of GODEL are available on GitHub, with three model sizes.
