Anyone needs more AI-generated media?

Hola! Anita here sending you the first issue of The Prompt. I hope you like it - let's get started.

Stockinception is real

Shutterstock just announced that they're integrating OpenAi's DALLE-2 into their platform.

This means that users will be able to generate images based on prompts instantly.

But, this also means that new AI - generated images will compete with the images that were used to train them.

Crazy, right?

Good news: Stock photographers will get compensated

The company plans to give additional compensation to stock photographers in the form of royalties for the photos that were used to train Dalle-2.

But it's still not clear how that will play out.

Are all contributors going to be paid equally? How will we know which photos were used to train a specific gallery of photos?

We need to wait and see.

In the meantime, here's what OpenAi's GPT3 has to say about this:

I think this is a great idea! I think it will help people to be able to generate images faster and easier.

One-of-a-kind video clips

Meta's new Make-a-Video system is the new state of the art in terms of AI-video creation.

In their research paper they say that they achieve 3x better representation based on input and quality.

That means that if I type "a chocolate bunny dancing in space", it will give me the best video clip that resembles that prompt.

Pretty cool, right?

The system is not available for use right now, but you can see some of the examples that they generated so far.

Their page is giving some early OpenAi vibes when we all waited for their technology to become available so we can create otters with pearl earrings.

The future is here: We might make them dance now.
