🦙 OpenAI is planning to release an open-source language model. The model will likely be significantly smaller than GPT-3.5/4. Scalability is key, as language models that could be run offline or on your mobile don’t need billion parameters.

👀 Stability AI’s open letter for Open Models to Congress. They want Congress to promote openness in AI, because that way every worker in the US will have access to powerful models, innovation will grow, and AI models will be safer through transparency.

🏋🏻‍♀️  Anthropic partners with Zoom. Zoom plans to build customer-facing AI products and will use Anthropic’s AI assistant Claude to do that. I thought that they would integrate this for meeting transcription/insights, but the first thing they’re AIgmenting is their contact center support.
